I don't even try to follow the nicknames anymore.  If that is what it takes to make the basketball team tolerable, why waste time. I will just enjoy Wes and Dean and Kamau, D.J., etc.

I'm pretty sure that the whole point of adopting the nicknames was to make k-State basketball discussions completely obnoxious and intolerable.  So...great job, I guess.  Presumably these will be phased out "big league" if the team turns out to be top 25ish.

I barely even know anyone's nickname anymore.  Ervin's the fat one.  Brown's the one I expect great things from, for me.
