the math says they are basically giving away those tickets.............

math says they're actually paying you to take the tickets.

They're going to need to sweeten the deal some more.

When I was in Florida there was a knockoff fuddruckers called like fuddbuckers or something

I think fuddbuckers might have been part of the evolution of the restaurant name in Idiocracy.

The math is that their tickets are $25 each, because none of you people were otherwise going to buy hot dogs and sodas at the game and then make a separate trip to fuddruckers for a sandwich.  But still, $60 cheaper than what KSU's marketing, if the price of a ticket was really the make-or-break factor in deciding whether to travel to Houston for this thing.

gas at 2 bucks means that $60 will pretty much get you there from where-ever Kansas........get other riders to pony up to get you back and you're good to go .........all that's left is the hotel

Yeah I was wanting a deal with United or someone included. Like a 2 for 1 redemption value on miles. I might (pry not tho) go then.

So I broke my ankle a couple of weeks ago. My dad is coming down (to Austin), and wants to go to the bowl. This seems like it would be a whole lot of hassle to me, but I don't want to let the guy down.

Anybody ever go to a football game, or know of someone that went, that wasn't able to use a leg?

Your handicapped tag should get you a very good parking spot.

This

I've been on crutches before.  My friends wouldn't let me use an accessibility stuffs.  They probably have golf cart/gators things that they used for olds and infirm.  Sometimes elevators for various sections too.  Might call before hand to see if you can get your name on any applicable lists.

Back in 2001, a young meow meow trudged through the cold rain during the last game of the year against Mizzou, to watch the Cats defeat the Tigers 24-3 to send them to the prestigious Insight.com Bowl, wearing a boot, covered in a trash bag and crutches.

It's gonna be contentious in the KSU section when all the fuddruckers gangs of 4 start moving into that section, loaded up w/hot dogs and soda.

In typical Texas bowl style, parking passes are 3x higher than game tickets on StubHub.
