Gems of the BAYLOR Game Thread
« on: November 19, 2016, 03:20:51 PM »
Hello fellow Cats fans, it is I, Dlew12, here again to bring you the Gems.  I strolled on over to BaylorFans.com and read 490 posts so you don't have to!  Let's get right to it:

Quote
This is it, the last home game of a season that has been full of ups and downs. Time to pull up the pants and go out with a bang! Let's kick that Snydercat ass ONE MORE TIME!

Sic 'em Bears!

Quote
Never seen such an empty stadium here. Feels like a high school game in here...or TCU's.
Quote
Looks like K-State has decided to just try and hurt all of our skill players.

First Smith. Now Galitz.
Quote
Thank you KSt for keeping our drive alive. Who knew, a Snyder team with all these penalties?
"uncharacteristic of a Snyder coached team!"
Quote
K-State playing dirty today. Very un Snyderlike.

They're usually quite physical, but in a clean way.

Not today.
Quote
Has any school in college football history faced more self-inflicted adversity than the Baylor Bear have this season?
Quote
This OLine is ****ty. They ****ing quit and you can see it.
Quote
Wow. Snydercat D line crushing our O line.
Quote
K-state is really sh*tty wow
Quote
K state's punter is ridiculous
Quote
I wish our defense gang tackled like K-State does.
Quote
Not going to miss Phil
LOTS of disgruntled bears fans.  Angry at their BOR and coaches.

after ertz's insane run in the first half
Quote
Holding... good job refs, that long run shoulda been called back
Quote
We have been cheated for 8 years on defense.
Quote
Getting owned by a mediocre QB.

Imagine what Mahomes is gonna do to us in Jerry World next week.
Quote
Wildcats gonna get double digit sacks on us before the afternoon is done.
Quote
Only a team built by Briles could make Ertz look like Cam Newton.

Fumble by Zack Ertz
Quote
ertz is horrible!
Quote
Ertz goes from looking like a Heisman winner to a special olympian on alternate plays.

Quote
Espn is not talking about our scandal and is refusing to show the staff.
They are going to pump us with the new hire.
Advertisers don't want those black shirts shown.
hot take

TD Bears
Quote
hahaha platt actually dropped it
:shakesfist:
Quote
Fortunately, K State isn't any good. Smith just made the 2 best throws of the entire season back to back.
Quote
Grobe needs to get his hand off that reporterette's shoulder or someone is going to accuse him of sexual assault.
Quote
We're not losing.
Quote
Clear holding on the Ertz run. No call.

I sincerely think these calls are being avoided out of deference to Snyder. But the holding was bad -- by two K-State OL -- on that play.
Quote
Their OLine is making holes the size of a mac truck and ours cannot even make one 3 feet wide...
Quote
Barnes is a young e smith
Quote
This is freaking sad... 1 yard gain turns to a bulldozer run of 6 yards...
Quote
Who's K-State's strength coach?
Quote
Snyder is performing a slow death for the Baptist Church U.
Quote
Can we hire K-State's defensive coordinator?
you already did!  hehehe
Quote
Thank you again, BOR.
Quote
Congratulations BOR. you've now given KSU a 28-14 lead against Baylor. I hope you're proud of yourselves.
Quote
Loser BOR cost us this game! And this season.
Quote
The return to the lost years is complete. This looks like a pre CAB era team.
Quote
The coordinators and assistants did a good job early on, but as the BOR made it clear that they want the program eviscerated, confidence and energy has waned, leaving a hollow shell that has far less to do with competence than executive malevolence.
#IAmVerySmart
Quote
At this stage of the season and this game, blaming the BOR for this slow-motion train wreck is like Marines being lit up by a gangle of goat herding jihadis and blaming Obama and a compliant Congress. Yes, Obama put our sons and daughters in harems way and he probably roots for the other side but at some point, Marines gotta be Marines. When Marines in the field act like social workers, the lick is on their immediate field leadership, not the political leadership half a world away. For our Bears, they are being failed by their field leadership (coaching staff across the board) and their own lack of desire.
in response:
Quote
Dumbest post ever.

Shows you know nothing about geopolitics, leadership or football. The dumb trifecta.
Quote
I don't expect these coaches to have their hearts in this...I mean how could they? BOR openly calling them liars and blaming them for everything.
Quote
I remember rushing the field when we beat K State to become bowl Eligible for first time. Fun times ahead.
i got down on the field for that game too
Quote
this program kinda reminds me of where Scott Drew started. We should be so lucky if we find one like him to lead it
@Sys !!!

Quote
If we just got doubled up by K Friggin State at home ...

How bad will Coach Bro butt-blast us up in Jerry World?
pssssst:  K Friggin State beat Coach Bro

And...that's it for the game thread.

Thanks sir!

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for your work, but I'm surprised this is the best they have to offer.  I figured their BBSing isn't the best, but holy crap.  I can't tell if they're broken and resigned to crap or if they're just this bad at meltdowns.

No way.  There are 3200 replies in their game thread.  It would take hours.
