They'll eventually be fine, although probably not this year, but they'll have a couple of good wins in conference. He still hasn't had the chance to turn the roster over enough to the type of players he needs, I think they only have like 6 freshmen and sophomores. Isaiah Taylor inexplicably leaving early killed them and this looks a bit worse because that team last season may have been the biggest group of overachievers in the country once conference play started. They had some good wins in the non con last year but they looked assy against really bad teams last year as well.

i mean, you are probably right but that non-con was unmitigated dogshit. kent state was coming off a 19 point loss to 4-9 oregon mother rough riding state.

There is no excuse for losing these games, just kinda pointing out that they were close to losing multiple games like this last year, with Isaiah Taylor. UT Arlington took them to overtime and they had a couple of other close games against shitty Texas southland conference schools.
