I remember some protesting and hanging Obama in effigy towards the beginning of his administration....What executive orders were those in response? I admittedly lean left so things he did back then I may have thought were super cool but conservatives would have been all

I don't remember any executive orders, but it was 8 years ago.

There was quite a bit of grumbling and bitching from the right, but no where near the collective and total meltdown that we're witnessing across vast swaths of the left now.

Even better is that Dem leaders are likely still going to try to win by demographics and division in the future based on their recent proclamations. So, I guess no lessons have been learned, and thus Dem leaders are going to continue to believe that certain groups are filled with people utterly incapable of thinking for themselves.

I'm pretty sure the meltdown was equal, if we had twitter at the level we have now as we did then, than my god yes it would be. Please, I didn't see there was no melting down, but it was no where close to this level.

"you lie" yep, that's exactly the same as having 400 or so (should have been more) people arrested at the inauguration, keeping people from entering the inauguration by blocking gates, breaking out windows and starting fires. Then having millions of women march for "women's rights" which turned into a I hate Trump rally replete with threats to blow up the White House. Not to mention entire college campuses needing "Safe Places" and the like for people to meltdown about the outcome of the election. Never stop libs
