A handful of others in the bar were probably wondering why tf we'd insisted on this game being on but then they'd see iowa state do some awesomely lol fuckup and appreciate farmageddon like we do.

I felt bad watching that game, ISU filled that place up for a 1-6 team.  Moldy people deserve nice things, even for a day.

They do, but there is a lot of stadiums very close:
ISU: 60,500
TTU: 60,454
OSU: 60,218
WVU: 60,000

The 2nd half was terrible defense. We gave up plays of 24, 39, 48, 28, 28, 24, and 21 yards in the 2nd half. We made ISU's offense look like Texas Tech or Okahoma.

Ironic given the title of this thread, but I literally always forget about TCU when listing Big 12 schools. We don't focus enough on how horrible of an add they were.

I know ISU is closer to Des Moines but I have always viewed the ISU/Iowa split a lot like KSU/KU in Kansas - only alums and a few immediate family are State fans and the U has all the tshirt fans.

The state is split evenly, I think that's because there isn't a dominant football or basketball program here and the rivalry is relatively even in both sports.

Hit on Ertz after he dove to the ground, unless I'm getting confused with another game. IIRC the flag wasn't because he slid but because he was already on the ground (and the play was over) before the defender contacted him.

It was a questionable call.  Without the call, I think it would've been a 4th & 1 in a spot on the field that we likely would've gone for it.
