I'm sad.
I'm sad that there are so many racist, misogynist, homophobes that Trump could get this many votes. I thought we were moving past that.
I'm sad that suburban white women would use the privileged afforded to them by the suffering of many women before them to vote for someone who hates them.
I'm sad that the third party voters thought it was more important to make a statement than to protect their fellow Americans from policies that could take away their rights and dignity as human beings.
I'm sad that my lesbian friend is afraid she won't have the chance to marry her girlfriend. I'm sad that my transgender friend is fearful that future legislation will not protect them.
I'm sad that there is the possibility that American women in the future will have to consider unsafe illegal abortions.

I'm sad that many of those assholes are my own family members.
I'm really sad that my dad would have been the only family member I could have commiserated with and I can't call him.

Or use protection/birth control like normal adults.  :dunno:

Fall in line, Wacks.  It's abstinence only unless you are trying to create a human being.

That's tough to read, I'm sorry. I don't think Roe vs Wade and gay marriage are in any danger though, hopefully there's some solace in that.

I'm curious if/when none of these fears become reality in the next 4 years how badly Trump will crush whoever the D's push out to get crushed.  It could really be a bloodbath.

I would love to be so wrong 4yrs from now that I prefer to vote Trump than the other options available.  That would be really great.

Sooo... everyone who voted for Trump is a racist homophobe?  Just making sure I understand this correctly.

I certainly didn't say that but I think you're being very disingenuous if you don't see why people would think that. It's over, you won, it's okay to point out the type of campaign that allowed this to happen.

Sorry MIR... didn't mean to quote your response. I was asking Mrs. Gooch if she really believes that.  it seems like a really sweeping generalization... I did not support or vote for Trump.

Trump's supporters aren't necessarily all racist misogynist homophobes, but they definitely supported one.

I supposed I can understand that feeling. I think the fears are a bit over-blown though. Everyone probably just needs to relax a bit...  If anyone really needs to be blamed here it's Joe Biden.

Probably all of them. People are stupid when they get too emotional.  The guy is a dick... I get it... but he will be checked when needed.  Relax.

You can't have a overblown fear; fear is in the eye of the beholder. Some people have a warped sense of what the fallout of what the next four years will be but its understandable because they're scared. Trump's rhetoric did this as he needs to fix it. I didn't vote for Hillary but people didn't fear that their rights would be infringed upon during a Hillary Clinton presidency.

Really?  Maybe fear is a strong word, there was certainly some concern there.

Enlighten me as to what rights could be perceived as under siege because of the words of Hillary Clinton. To save time and bullshit don't even say a word about the second amendment because she has never threatened to repeal that, let's not carry the water for the NRA.

Shut up with the fear mongering Trump is a racist, sexist, whatever else bullshit you whiny rough ridin' libtard idiots. That's a one-size fits all Republicans costume your masters conjured up to scare you into supporting their substanceless party.

Identity politics are dead. Good riddance. It was divisive bullshit that fueled trumps crap stomping of a racist, homophobic, bigoted, well-documented liar, cheater and crook. The hypocrisy you clowns are exhibiting is off the charts absurd.

Excessive government surveillance.

Yeah, Trump will be worse, but would have been a valid concern about a Hillary presidency.

I can't government surveillance could be any more intrusive than it already is. Also is that a right being taken away?

It can always get worse, and yes I consider many aspects of our surveillance program violations of the 4th amendment.
