I like YouTube TV a lot. Tried PSVue and the interface was TERRRRIBLE compared to YTTV.

I use my phone for the remote and do Chromecast. Love it because you can preview what's happening in real time from your phone without changing it on your TV.

I should really probably try chrome cast with YoutubeTV. Their app on Roku could use some serious work. Otherwise, channel selection and cloud DVR are BITB IMO.

Looks like YouTube TV is going up $10 per month effective immediately. That's the one I was thinking of using if I finally kick DirecTV to the curb after GOT ends.

Not worth the $50. I've had YTTV for a few months now. The on-demand selection isn't bad but not enough live options imHo and the ones they just added are MEH.

Mostly just sports. Would sling be a better option? I'm cancelling my YTTV this month. I'd like the USA network as well.

I think I got a really good deal on my cable/phone/internet when I just moved and transferred service. There's been 3 times now since I did it that some other person from their company has done a double-take upon looking at my service arrangement and commenting that I must've gotten some sort of hook-up. Maybe I did, just by virtue of going to the place and sitting with the guy and being relatively agreeable.

I currently get AT&T Fiber for $50 and YTTV for $50. My last cable+internet bill from xfinity was for $135 and I didn't have ESPNU or NBC Sports or NBATV. And it was worse quality picture and slower internet.

getting fiber in my neighborhood really helped

also winters I don't think you'll find any streaming package better for sports. cable can match//surpass it but it won't be cheaper

The price increase makes YTTV much closer to the other OTT services (industry slang I learned), but it still has much better potential because of the cloud DVR and multiple accounts (if I cared more I’d enlist some buds to share in the cost and then it would be a steal). The UI for Roku still sucks ass tho.
