Anybody there and see if my guy Dishon is ok?

Helped off the field with a knee or high ankle injury it appeared.  He hasn't been back out.

It's better than the Wildcat or Killing Ertz down there. Have you not been paying attention to our offense for the last twenty years? Do you not understand how we score the majority of our touchdowns from inside the five?

Ertz seems bad at any pass longer than 10yds.  Other than that, he looks good today.

Maybe Dana can merge him with Waters to create the perfect Iowa quarterback.

I'm torn on Dimel. You can't complain when he keeps getting TDs, but against an inferior team it just feels like stat padding. Why not give some other RBs a chance to run it in from the 1?

I am fine with our fullback being used as a fullback.  :dunno:

Ball security,  downhill runner, harder to tackle,  can take more punishment. That's the reasoning for using him inside of the five. If it works, then why would anyone question it? I don't think the coaches are concerned with offending anyone's sense of fairness.

This is what makes me the most mad. I think if it wasn't the coaches son I wouldn't care.

I get the concept, just saying against a crappy team why wouldn't you spread it around? They certainly don't want Dimel getting injured either.

I mean I like touchdowns, I would prefer that it was Warmack.

Love that Ben Leber is calling out the Dimel nepotism as "unfair".

It's really not worth criticizing when we are getting touchdowns every time we give him the ball.

It was right after his first one, when Dalvin Warmack did all the hard work to put us in position to score. I mean, come on, just throw Dalvin a bone.

You don't think it's important for Dimel to get the reps when possible? That seems like odd reasoning to me.

Dime's gotten his reps. Warmack, which my computer autocorrected to Warlock so that's what I'll be calling him from here on out, has gotten almost no reps and he certainly deserved to score on freakin TD. That being said, Dimel is a big ol' bruiser

I think it's important for our other RBs to get reps when possible as well.

I don't think the Sisco kid will connect on many bombs this year

There is a reason why pass interference was called on the two he threw

I won't look it up but I think he had more fumbles last year than any other RB
