All of this outrage is because of some guy saw a head at the bottom of a wide shot photo. He blew the photo up RTed it and started the outrage machine. What basic people don't understand is that by churning the outrage machine they are giving him a platform to draw attention to what he's doing.

Also I'd be willing to bet that 95% of the people mad about this fake issue are total hypocrites, including people itt. I guarantee you that if I walked in the parking lot during the K-State pre-game while the POWL are doing the ceremony of allegiance with a sign that says "I won't stand for the anthem either," I'd have people pissed off, completely unaware that they're picking having one more natty light and a ranch dressing sandwich over "honoring the country and the men fighting for it."

So now he has matching socks.  If it was me, I might have hemmy make me some socks with the entire "best to avoid all cops" printed on them, but Kaepernick's are probably easier to produce.

I'd also question if he's really "protesting" all that much, as opposed to feeling how he does and acting (or not acting, I guess) accordingly.  All he did was blow off an anthem that he's conflicted about.  Then he was asked why, and he said why.  And when he feels differently, he'll act differently.  I'm sure he doesn't expect for institutional america to change its ways for him and his pregame rituals or socks of choice.
