crap Ted Cruz leaves in my inbox
« on: July 29, 2016, 02:12:06 PM »

RATM,

Another day, another Democrat in Philadelphia dreaming of turning Texas blue.

This time it's failed liberal extremist Wendy Davis!

Team Cruz is eager to put Ted's record of defending the Constitution and fighting for jobs, freedom, and the security of 27 million Texans against any Democrat with designs on 2018.

But we want to know what you think.

In the battle of Texas cowboy boots v. pink running shoes, who do you stand with?

Stand with Ted Cruz!

Fight on,

Team Cruz

P.S. RATM, yesterday we had to take on the Castro brothers and today Wendy Davis is making her case to the DNC that she can turn Texas blue! Will you help us fight back with a secure, instant donation of $25 or more to Ted's Senate campaign?

RATM,

This morning, the Castro brothers of Texas - Julian and Joaquin, made an announcement, and I want you to be the first to know.

In an interview with Charlie Rose of CBS, Joaquin Castro said he will take a look at running for Senate in 2018.

Despite any record of achievement and a liberal ideology out of touch with the majority of Texans, the Castro brothers have the full support of the mainstream media and Washington establishment willing to do everything in their power to turn Texas blue.

Help me fight back!

This November, it is critical we elect conservatives up and down the ballot in order to prevent a liberal takeover of Washington D.C.

But our opponents are already making plans to defeat us, so we cannot afford to wait to engage until 2018.

Everyday in the Senate, I have continued fighting for jobs, freedom, and the security of 27 million Texans and all Americans across this great country.

In order to stop the Castro brothers attempts to bring their liberal ideology to the halls of the U.S. Senate -- I need you by my side.

Will you continue to stand with me?

If you can afford to donate today -- I hope you will make an immediate donation of $25, $50, or more to my Senate campaign.

With liberal Democrats like the Castro brothers preparing to challenge our shared conservative values, the time to fight back is now!

Please click here to make a generous donation to my reelection efforts.

Your support means the world to Heidi and me.

For liberty,

Ted Cruz

P.S. RATM, we must fight back against the Castro brothers and any attempt by the media or establishment to turn Texas blue! Will you make a secure, instant donation of $25 or more to my Senate campaign to help me continue the fight?

The Washington Cartel and their friends in the press just can't help themselves.

RATM,

The Washington Cartel and their friends in the press just can't help themselves.

Headlines over the past couple weeks have practically begged for an establishment candidate to step up and challenge me in the Texas Senate primary:

"Amid rumors that Cruz could face a primary challenge..."

"The Establishment floats another squish as Cruz challenger"

"A Gathering Storm Against...Ted Cruz?"

One prospective candidate has even gone as far as to say, "never say never".

As one of my greatest supporters, you know I'll never back down from a challenge. But without your continued financial support, a competitive primary could become a reality.

My priorities as your United States Senator from Texas are to lead the fight for jobs, freedom, and the security of each and every constituent I am so honored to represent.

That's what scares our opponents. They know I have dedicated my time in office to fighting for you --- defending the Constitution and your personal liberty with everything I have.

Just this week, a knucklehead professional football player declared he will no longer stand for our national anthem. That's a sign of what a wrong path we're on.

I gotta say, as the son of a man who fled oppression in Cuba, and came to America seeking freedom, I couldn't help but think how different my Dad's perspective is: you couldn't tie my father down during the national anthem.

So while it is easy to take shots from the sidelines, whether in politics or in football, I have been proud to stand with you for our shared conservative values and the principles upon which our nation was founded.

Today is a critical end of month fundraising deadline and right now we are short of our August goal. Will you stand with me once again when I need you the most?

For liberty,

P.S. - Heidi and I are so grateful for the loyal grassroots supporters who have powered our efforts over the past year, please consider giving $5, $25, or even $100 before midnight to help us beat our August fundraising goal.

I looked up what a squish is, and apparently, it's something short of a crush, like you want to get to know someone better and get close to them, but then not have sex with them.

RATM,

While the Clinton campaign and the Obama Administration may have wanted to bury the revelations from Hillary Clinton's FBI interview over the holiday weekend, the story is even worse than any of us could have imagined.

Back during the presidential campaign, our team released a parody video about the lengths Hillary Clinton would go to hide her corruption and reckless handling of classified information. Little did we know at the time, how true this reenactment would turn out to be.

We wanted to share a recent headline with you from The Right Scoop:

REMINDER: This is how RIGHT Ted Cruz was about Hillary Clinton

What Senator Cruz said then and continues to believe now is that Hillary Clinton plays by a different set of rules than you or me, and she knows it.

< ----- WATCH ----->

www.goodtobeaclinton.com

Even a CNN anchor reporting on the story could not hide her stunned reaction to the confirmation that Hillary Clinton aides destroyed Clinton's old mobile phones by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer.

Unfortunately for you and me, Hillary knows it's
"Good to be a Clinton", which is why we must all stand together against this shameful double standard and for the rule of law -- equally applied to everyone!

SIGN THE PETITION -----> STAND AGAINST HILLARY!

For liberty,

Team Cruz

P.S. - Despite the FBI calling her "extremely careless" Hillary Clinton has faced no consequences for mishandling classified information;
please sign the petition today to send a message that the American people STAND AGAINST HILLARY!

Dear RATM,

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

I’ve made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.

Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable — that’s why I have always been #NeverHillary.

Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.

Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.

Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.

Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.

Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.

Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.

These are six vital issues where the candidates’ positions present a clear choice for the American people.

If Clinton wins, we know — with 100% certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.

My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.

We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom — including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.

Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.

The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.

Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.

A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don’t want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.

For liberty,

Ted Cruz

Wait, trump could potentially nominate Mike rough ridin' Lee to the Supreme Court and Ted Cruz is okay with that? Cruz is absolutely more qualified for the Supreme Court than Mike Lee is, ksuw is more qualified for the Supreme Court. Is this Ted's long play, is he rolling over for a potential Supreme Court nomination, since Donald appears to be willing to nominate politicians that dabble in law?

The only qualification for serving on the supreme court is an understanding of the constitution. Probably best if they aren't lawyers that understand how to manipulate the english language.

No. All of the arguing over legal minutia take place long before they get to the supreme court. The only question should be if the lower court ruling conflicts with the constitution, yes or no.
