I have no idea what is going on in this thread....will have to ask my dad how his venom therapy is going. He doesn't talk about it much anymore which leads me to believe he no longer injecting himself with venom.

Believe it or not I was just chatting with my dad today and asked him if he still injects himself with snake venom. The answer is yes but maybe not. Apparently he got a couple of vials of freeze dried venom from a vet like 12 years ago but then the vet cut him off when he found out what it was being used for and he hasn't found a new dealer.

He thinks that it might be losing its potency over the years and they lost power a couple of times (he keeps it in the freezer) so it hasn't been frozen the whole time. It's a once a month injection right into the thigh muscles.

What would have been an acceptable use for freeze dried frozen snake venom that wouldn’t have gotten him cut off?
