OK, so all these shows now have "After" shows. Orphan Black has "After the Black". GoT has "After the Thrones". Is this really necessary to talk the shows to death right afterwards? And couldn't they come up with a more creative title for the after shows?

At least The Walking Dead calls theirs "The Talking Dead" - which BTW is now the after show for both TWD and FTWD.

Yeah, i read an article about how HBO clearly doesn't get it regarding these shows... everyone's jazzed up to watch one right after seeing the episode, not the next day.

Sounds like they actually do "get it". No one alive would rather watch after thrones than silicon Valley. Amc has no content so wasting an hour on talking dead is their best bet at a ratings grab with a lead in audience

My point was that showing an "After the ____" show a full 24 hours after the episode was dumb. What was your point? "I like Silicon Valley better"? Not really germane, is it ^7? What are your thoughts on Cat videos? Should those air following GoT since they are also preferable to watching After the Thrones?

HBO could probably air Silicon Valley first and then GOT/After the thrones or whatever. At the same time, I assume HBO is smart people and know what they are doing.

Yeah. The Sunday block of got, silicon Valley, veep, and John oliver is arguably the best group of programming tv has ever had.

Yeah, they already have that. It is basically taking up the first 10 minutes of the show.
