the last 30 years we have had 2 university presidents so it seems weirder for us.  Washington State has had 11 in their 125 year history.  So you are right, but it is still a huge change.

It's roughly par for the course, we've had 13 (going on 14) in 153. That's an avg. of 11.8 years/prez for us (for 13), it's 11.4 years/prez for them. Seems right.

I've given it serious consideration.  I have some family constraints, so I don't get to make that decision by myself. 

I didn't choose to be a Kansan, but I chose to be a K-Stater.  If Brownback takes over K-State, I'll choose to not be a K-Stater and be perfectly happy.  I mean, I already have degree from KU as well.  Maybe I'll get an online degree from Wisconsin or something.   I'd have loads of options.
