Jesus christ guys. Jesus rough ridin' christ. People have to stop minimizing this crap. This is exactly why he cannot succeed at the highest level consistently. This is why he has to be gifted success, then he tanks. Cultural problem. No motivation, players don't care or at best just annoyed. Culture seeps into everything. Consider us doomed.

IIRC, wasn't the board's name at one point "be outstanding not out standing?" I feel like this was last year (14-15) sometime

Gawd I feel sorry for the players we've had forced to play under his guidance.

Somebody should play that for Gene Keady and ask him for an explanation...

...then play it for Huggins and dare him not to crack a smile.

nobody forced them.  like currie, they chose weber.

i do wonder if it says something about recruits that choose to play for oscar weber because they know they'll be able to walk all over him.

Don't get me wrong, I want oscar fired and I wanted him fired the day we hired him. But the man does have (conference) rings. Those can make up for a lot to an 18 year old. You can bet he has a case that is a main focus in his office on recruiting visits.

It would be extremely oscar for us to get in one of these play in games and win before losing in the real first round next year. Then oscar would proclaim a huge step with that NCAA win under his belt.

He'd want a banner for that win.

He's terrible. He's embarrassing.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Also, when you can pull the Big XII card out and the player is only getting MAC/MVC like offers with mild interest from the big boys it sure looks appealing. I haven't looked at oscar's recruiting class closely in terms of other offers, but something tells me this is happening to an extent.

Can't say for other classes, but this is the case for our non Xavier Sneed recruits this year. That said, Sneed is a good get.
