17-16 may be enough, but we'll be clenched a little on Selection Sunday, waiting for the tournament draws to be announced so we can see who is left out. It helps that Louisville and SMU won't be in the postseason so two teams that should be in the NIT will make it to the tourney instead, possibly opening the door for us to squeeze into the NIT with a record that poor.

Don't get embarrassed at Tech, and then somehow beat OSU in KC. What wonderful times we live in when we're left hoping for this.
