Name the distraction
« on: March 01, 2016, 09:32:51 AM »
Like any accomplished, media savvy executive, John Currie has become an expert at diverting attention from the failures of his men's basketball coach.  It is one of the things he learned from the SEC where any major infraction or crime was announced the Friday before Labor day or some time when it will be unnoticed.

What will Currie announce or come up with following our opening round loss in the Big 12 Tournament?  I am guessing a home and home football game with North Carolina in 2022-23.

"proud of our #mbb team today, fought hard in a close loss to #osumbb cowboys"

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I think we'll beat OSU to get on the right side of the NIT bubble, then lose by 20 to the Hawks.

they don't appear to have quit yet on oscar, which is a criticism I've heard of his Illinois teams
so that's good, I guess

I mean, they quit on him last year, so I guess it's good that they aren't quitting on him every year?

My guess is some exciting new logistical tweaks to the Spring Game.  Perhaps an extended autograph signing session?

IDK, Sprint Center will be an unfriendly neutral site.  OSU fans should out number KSU like 4-1 if KSU fans have their priorities straight.

Finalizing the NE endzone funding?

A new agriculturally based sponsor?  The Steiger Case IH North East Endzone Corner.
