It's a joke to have a non PG having 27 TOs in 9 games. And he is now missed 31 of his last 44 shots.

Edwards missed a key front end of a 1-and-1 with us up 1 and about 90 secs left back in the B12 opener vs WV. Today he misses 2 clutch FTs in OT

The 5 minutes of overtime was possibly the worst 5 minutes of basketball between 2 Big XII teams I have ever seen, but maybe there was some 5 minute stretch in the 2006 NU @ KSU game I'm forgetting

In chat I was trying to remember KSU involved in a game where both teams played so poorly. I couldn't think of one.

the OT stats my word. 7 Offensive boards, 9 shots, 5 FTs, only 1 TO, and only 3 points. I mean my Lord that is offensively bad. And we still had a chance to tie at the buzzer.

We are without our best player due to injury CF3, cut them some slack. And our two twin towers that will dominate the boards are sidelined as well. Plus our team is 18 year olds playing against physically superior 21-22 year olds. Coach just needs more time.

We have been in 3 OT games and had a 3 pt loss

Of those 4 games, WV at home was our only decent game on Offense.

1) Shot 40% eFG at Texas
2) Had 16 TOs and 0.76 PPP last 50 Poss at Bay
3) Today 43% eFG with 29 TO%

Tough for a good team being that bad on Offense and winning. But 3-1 prob would have happened in those 4 had we not been a train wreck disaster on Offense

I don't like the rate at which our team throws the ball to the other team. I also hate that we probably shoot 10% on the front end of the 1-1 in league play, particularly since we've lost a half dozen conf games by 1 or 2 possessions.

I do like how we play defense, and how much our rebounding has improved.

1) We OR almost 37%. That is a good #. Our DR could be slightly better, giving up 34%

2) our D isn't great but its been good enough in games we truly could win ( take out at Ku/Ou/WV). As I pinpointed our Off is poor in some of those gms and we barely lose

3) TOs are pathetic. Mainly because so many are lazy, unforced TOs we just give up without much pressure from the D. When u TO the ball 1/4 of the time and fail to hit 50.0 eFG....its hard to win.

We have only hit 48.0 or better in our 3 wins. Can't remember last time we were under 20.0 on TO% ( 25% ave last 10 gms)

I think we switch too much on screens. Too many bad match-ups and open looks when we have guys chasing around trying to find their man.

I dont mind the switching because the help d is good. The worst that comes of it is a long jump shot, which isn't a bad strategy because cbb is so low skill.

I wish I could say the lazy turnovers are a youth thing to grow out of. But it seems like the laziest turnovers are largely attributable to our upperclassmen. Edwards, Hurt and Ervin are particularly careless

We're missing stokes bad, because, although I love Wes and his abilities as a distributor, he shouldn't have to handle the ball as much as he does.

Thanks for the update and review of the game.

I watched four episodes of The Killing yesterday afternoon. Just couldn't bring myself to watch this team any longer. Maybe next year I'll try again.
