James Cameron almost killed my friend....
« on: May 01, 2010, 01:18:52 PM »
Couple buddies and I thought we'd have a few beers, play some mw2 until about 11, and then head to the IMAX in Olathe to catch Avatar in 3D on IMAX while we had the chance. (hadn't seen movie before)

I'm not going to get into how gay the story was or how I wished the movie would just end or how I want to bang a 10 foot blue bitch with a tail. (all of these are true however)

One of the guys in our group spazzed out about an hour into the movie and left.  He sent me a text that he was going to wait for us in the lobby.  About 20 minutes before the end of the show a cop comes and tells me that my friend is not doing well and about to be taken to the hospital.  I thought at first he probably just got jumped by some rascals from Olathe but he was having some sort of panic/anxiety meltdown.

Anyway, took him to the ER and they gave him some Xanax.  He's going to sue James Cameron and make billions.

awkward story...

yeah.

Guess running on 2 hours sleep after a night in the ER has hindered my story telling abilities.  :frown:

Pretty sure they post warnings for that stuff. But sue away.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

We didn't see the warning.  We were snorting cocaine in the bathroom and missed the first few seconds of the movie.

Probably to make sure it was only a panic attack. :dunno:.
also this story was terrible I recommend deleting this thread and making up a fake story involving kirk cameron, a group of your friends, a christian convention, and a bible.

I concur with yla but would leave the part about snorting the cocaine.  Maybe that's where Kirk can walk in and bust you?   He says something like, "you really shouldn't do drugs, that's what killed my friend Boner".
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever
