Gonna be a long close night in Iowa. Marco Rubio is kicking ass tonight, good news for Yarddog!

My first caucus was weird and the lady running it screwed it up, no surprise she was a Hillz supporter. She screwed the O'Malley people over not giving them a chance to reach the viability threshold. Anyway Bernie won my precinct and now I am an official voting delegate :billdance:

I mean I could vote for Hilz instead of Bernie at the convention but there's no way in hell I'll do that.

I can be bought though

67% of the vote left and Hillz is up on Bern by a whole 14 delegates.

75% of the Republican votes in and Marco is closing fast on the Donald, the meltdown will be glorious.

Will Bernie Fife beat Mean Aunt Bea?
Will Mr. Cruz Haney triumph over New Yorker Oliver Swindle Trump? Will young sprout Eb Marco sneak a win? Will Kimble Kasich get a vote?  Will Uncle Slow Joe Christie get off his butt over 2%?

BTW if you are following the numbers right now the differences in the numbers are that in the Republican caucuses they count votes, the Democratic caucuses count delegates. Republicans casts physical ballots in their caucuses, the D's count heads and then assign the percentage of delegates right away.

Tiny amount

Unspeakably weird, basically random people speak to others about why you should switch to their side. The lady who spoke for O'Malley said we should pick him because "it's too early to give up on him." A lady spoke for Hilz and said we should vote for her because she's a woman and Bernie supporters shouldn't believe Republican lies about her, she also said the Republicans would work with Hilz and not Bernie, I audiably loled. I spoke for Bern and said only he and O'Malley are the true liberals and why should we just accept 8 more years of Barack W. Bush.

I think if he finishes third he'll freak out.

I thought Ted would win by more tonight, but still pleased he beat Trump.

Rubio is the big surprise. The guy barely campaigned in Iowa. There might be more common sense people there than I thought.

When you look at how the vote split, Trump could be in yuge trouble. He is almost nobody's second choice, so he doesn't have much upside as weaker candidates drop and the votes consolidate.

Still probably gonna have to wait until after South Carolina, but we could realistically be on the verge of a three man race.

Oh, I guess I should add an  that the congenital liar felon is running neck and neck with the pushing 80 Socialist. Quite a choice you guys get to make, Dems!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Martin O'Malley is suspending his campaign  This is a surprise because by all accounts he is doing much better than he polled, I've heard he has been around 10% at several sites, but the viability threshold has erased all of that. I hope he didn't think he would be above 15%.

You thought Ted would win by more? He's up 4%, that's a virtual blowout. Given he's anti ethanol subsidizes in Iowa, him blowing out Trump was definitely not expected.

Rubio is a huge winner tonight, if he wins New Hampshire it is OVER! There are reports from the Trump campaign and party of anger, they booed the Cruz projected win.

Looks like the Democratic caucus will end in an effective dead heat.

Five percent or so. He'll certainly leave NH with the delegate lead.

Jim Gilmore got 11 votes. Not delegates. Votes. He lost to "Other."
