like duke, Kentucky, uconn, michigan state, ucla, etc... And was able to have the resources to land top level talent, how many ncaa championships do you think he would have won by now?

When you look at what he's been able to do with guys like perry ellis, tyshawn Taylor, and Elijah Johnson it's absolutely no secret that self is a miracle worker. Just imagine if he was able to get cal, K, and izzo level talent and fan support... unstoppable?

Bill is a dino. He belongs in a time and place without internet, without gender equality, and without a concern of player well being. Today's world is too challenging to his way of life and belief system. If bill was 40 yrs earlier, he probably would be the best ever.

Naw, Bill can keep this thing afloat on coaching talent alone. I just don't see ku as a place where he can maximize that coaching talent. It's like when saben finally stepped up to lsu and alabama, he just needed the extra resources to truly shine.

Unc has poached ku coaches that had reached their ku ceiling before and I'm not saying that will happen again but where there's smoke there was usually fire

If coach bill self has a basketball weakness, it's keeping players under control. That's all NBA coaches do so if coach bill self asked my opinion, I'd tell him his strong suit is x's and o's and that's not needed at the pro level and he should stick to his talents.
