The OK_Cat summer concert series has started, my friends.  Mrs. OK_Cat went and saw some assortment of rock bands the other day, including Godsmack.  Not my thing, I stayed home and watched tv.  She said they sucked, but the people watching (Oklahoma meth heads) was A+

Matchbox 20 next month, going to def be wearing my outside concert dad outfit.

Seeing several country concerts, because the wife.  Can't remember the names, mostly "new-ish" country people.

We've been going to a lot of tribute bands.  It's kind of fun and sometimes funny and relatively inexpensive. The Prince tribute band is our favorite but there's also a really good Lenny Kravitz band that plays around here too.

Last week my son and I went to Isbell on Tuesday and American Aquarium on Friday.

Isbell at the Stiefel in Salina was amazing. If you see someone you like playing there, go. If you see a concert  at the Stiefel has tickets and you're in the area, go.

I think I would have liked both the Killers and Fallout boy if I had listened to them when they first came out.  I acknowledge that it's good music.  However, I missed them both.  I have only listened to one band that has come out since 2000 and that's Billy Strings.

You should get into Jason Isbell IMO

I appreciate him very much for who he is but also his music bores me to death and I'll never listen to it again in my life. write a blog post bro.
