Dr. Dog was quite enjoyable, and their light design was delightful, but we had to leave about halfway through to relieve our babysitter because Shakey Graves went on so late and took so long with his witty crowd work, song about Gate's and what not.  :impatient:


Anybody interested in a pair of tickets to Dolly Parton tonight (lowers, aisle, face)? I seemed to have vastly overestimated the market for a legend going on tour for the first time in more than two decades. :blank:

Went to the Rhythms and Brews tonight in City Park.  Saw a band from CO and one from LA, was a beautiful night for it

Any Wichita Cats want to go see the Avett Bros Oct 8?  Will sell you my 2 tix at face value.  Don't want to sell online as apparently they don't mail them until two weeks prior to the concert to prevent resale.  Apparently I have a wedding to go to that weekend now

I think they said they were from Oakland, so maybe not SF specifically.

Sat outside the grandstand last night at the Iowa State Fair and listened to Heart for free while pounding long islands, they didn't sound great.

Going to pay $150 a ticket for the upper deck to see DCX at the Minnesota State Fair next week, need a baby sitter in the twin cities though, any recommendos?

i'm sure with all those wide open spaces you could find a travelin soldier who's ready to run your kids for a bit, i mean you're not going to be a long time gone. but if you're not ready to make nice with a rando veteran, there's your trouble right there
