What's next? A property tax on pubic hair?
« on: December 19, 2015, 09:54:33 AM »
I learned that I have to pay a tax on part of the life insurance benefit provided to me by my company.  In 2 years my company will be taxed for providing me a decent health insurance plan. I will likely end up with a plan that is as worthless as a titless milk cow.  Bernie, MG, Obankroll, and Ryan are going nuclear santa and promising everything to everyone.  Taxes are going to be set on all sort of new stuff.  What the hell will they tax next?

This tax has been around a long time. The premium on an coverage that exceeds, i think, $50,000 in coverage is considered income and taxed.

This is correct. There are much bigger things to bitch about than having to pay taxes on an employer provided benefit.

Interesting. I don't see that on my pay stub. 2X policy. Definitely above of $50K.

Also, health insurance Cadillac tax has been repealed.

obama Cadillac tax I believe has just been pushed back, I hope you are right.  I am sick of this president.  He intends to run this country into the sewer and then call it Nirvana.  He will be remembered as the tick that sucked the bloodlife out of the beacon of freedom.

Dang.  You're correct.  Delayed until 2020. I misunderstood an article I read earlier today.

My employer gives me an additional bonus every year equal to the tax. Of course that gets taxed also, but that amount ends up being much smaller than the original tax.

This thread title made me think of the tax on periods.

That is pretty misleading. A sales tax on everything isn't really a tax on periods.

Yep, Kansas taxes tampons.......... and condoms, and gum, and water bottles, and shoes, and...................

In the same way, you could throw a fit because Kansas taxes white people without mentioning every other race that is taxed.

The point is that most states have a tax exemption for necessities, but they don't think tampons are necessities.

Also, women pay on average a "gender tax" of $1351 per year due to mark up of items marketed to women.

One of the best things about having a big beard is that if you find a nasty hair in your food you can easily rationalize that it just fell of your own face.

You guys should band together for one of those one day boycotts. Facebook seems like the right medium to get the word out or ignore for gender markup satan

Might be a pubic hair.  Tax evasion.

Have you seen those protests where women on their periods just don't use tampons and bleed all over themselves?

Why would it be his "fault"? It's just a fact that my vagina does not get me any free drinks or meals.

You're using it wrong? (or maybe '.' I can't decide if this is a question or a declaration.)
