SC stunk in conference last year after a solid non-con. Be interesting to see how they fare.

Frank is a good coach. I'd like to think he would be more successful at KSU than he would ever be at SC, but the guy can still coach bball wherever he is.

Doubtful, in my opinion.

Frank has put together a pretty nice team.  However, I've seen SC play, and don't see a clear difference in quality.  I think they'd likely be 8-2 playing our schedule and I think there's a good chance we'd be 10-0 playing their schedule.

point being - why does Frank have a nice team likely to get into the NCAA and we have a crap team hopefully bound for the NIT?

Playing teams twice in the big 12 < facing those weak ass bitches in the SEC.

Big 12 title > winning 1 game in the tourney.

yeah, but still, it is inexcusable based on what oscar took over vs what Frank took over that Frank will beat him to a tournament win.

They have two ranked teams on their schedule the rest of the way and Kentucky is kinda garbage this year.

Wacky sounds like a KU fan trying to denigrate KSU's football success.

Not really. If you look at those schedules, who do you think has the better chance? We do have plenty of opportunities for big wins, but...

The biggest difference between our teams at this point is that we've played two better teams than them and have two losses to show for it.  I think they pretty clearly have better chance at getting in.  KenPom has them at 25-6 to our 17-14 so it doesn't look particularly close either

I don't think it's very likely either team gets in this year.

neither team is very good, does it matter which is worse?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Wacks why are the gamecocks ranked?
Because they're undefeated?! :dunno: If you wanna jerk off Frank, go for it. I really could careless. I've gotten over my butthurt for him. I'm just saying, I bet the toughest team they play all year is A&M, because I think Kentucky is garbage.

Memphis, where should I eat the weekend of the bowl game? Maybe we should make a thread for you up top.

I'm seriously just talking about who's got the better chance based off the schedule. I don't think that's taking away from Frank, i'm sure he would tell you it's pretty light too. We've only played two tough teams so far, so i'm not announcing us as champions. However, the double round robin is lethal in the Big 12.

The way it looks right now, this twenty fifteen/sixteen Bruceketball team can probably make the tourney with an 8-10 confy record, with a few of the right wins. I hope they can find a way to do that, AT LEAST.

We would beat South Carolina by 40 this year. Unless they fired Frank Martin before we played them.
