Because I sure as hell do. Some people think I'm silly.

Do you wrap them and let your dog open the wrapping?

No but he has a stocking that I put his stuff in. I let him dig through that.

Of course. Who doesn't love to watch a dog go crazy over an jumbo bone? Plus it keeps them busy while we do family stuff.

yes and for the pets of some friends and neighbors.  All this money isn't going to spend itself.

My dog may have gotten a shiny, brand new, K-State collar on one or more Christmases.

We got bear a tiny stocking this year. He has a million toys, but he loves them all. He'll probably get a toy from me this year. And dog depends.

Near holidays / dog birthday / whenever I feel like it we will walk down to petsmart (about 1/2 mile) and we'll pick out some awesome new stuff together, and then walk back home and party our butts off. I highly recommend doing this with your dog. Also, I usually get to 2.5/7 before doing all of this which makes it super great.

I used to wrap something and let my dog open it and get bits of wrapping paper all over the place. It was fun, but I had to make sure to get the paper out of her mouth real fast so she didn't eat any of it.

Back when I used to actually decorate for Christmas, we had photo stocking hangers and one had Candy's picture in it.

Hey spacedog cautionary tale:  one time I went to Petsmart and this person had their dog there, and another person who had some sort of mental disability wanted to pet the dog.  (I think) the dog could tell something wasn't right, lunged and snapped at the person who then passed out and pissed/crap themselves.  Owner is freaked out, says dog has never done that before.  Animal Control gets called, they take the dog away and it was destroyed.   :frown:

holy crap that is horrible. I don't think Spacedogdog would ever do that, but dogs can be weird sometimes.
