Sometimes when i'm at the gym, I have to wait like 4 games before I can jump into a basketball game, because I think they think that white men can't jump.  :frown:

I know this pain. And what makes it worse is when they wont pass it to you and look absolutely stunned when you make a good play. But, they chalk it up to luck and still don't pass it to you.

Where are you guys finding these pickup games with all of these brothas?

For those of you who can actually stomach hanging around black people, do you get super jeals that we always greet each other when we see another black person whether we know them or not? Are you guys jeals of the fact that we have intricate dap and we can do it with strangers and it's not at all awkward?

We should start a master thread for all of MIR's threads on racial issues.

Yes, actually please do this, plllllllleeeeeaaasssseeee. If you get to more than 3 threads I've started on race, I'll leave.

 Well it took me about 2 minutes using the search function to find 3...

So I guess you've now officially hit your limit.
Fwiw, none of those are going to count.  Hint: never argue with the insane.

I could argue the Will Stack one but I won't. Also that took you a hell of a lot more than 2 minutes to find those. I have no idea how you found the Will Stack one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I don't like acknowledging very many people I know, let alone any that I don't.

We moved going into my ninth grade junior high year.  first day I go out to hoop after lunch, all bruthas and me, it cracked me up because these guys thought they could ball because they were black, after abusing the best one about 5 times he got so pissed he wanted to fight, he couldn't fight either.  I became good friends with most of them, the one dude never got over it but he's dead now so whatevs.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

I always try to, but they say "nah, he had next!" even tho he didn't. He just got done playing, because he lost.  :frown: They bully me, man! Oh well, I found a gym downtown now, that has an extra side for me to shoot around. I usually like to shoot or run a few games before lifting. This is all I got, tho! I just thought I'd add to the discussion.  :D

I tend to acknowledge and greet lots of folks.

But I have noticed since being back in the Midwest a lot more, that people are much more uptight.
