well I preferred to ditch our car altogether but I lost and now my wife is in charge of moving the car on street cleaning days (Monday and Tuesday in our neighborhood). I think a garage in our neighborhood is like $400+ a month

It's really not bad outside of those days. And we did sell a car before we moved.

So far the times I've driven it since September (outside of moving for street parking):

Once because my daughter was super late for school and driving was faster than the subway
Once for work
Once to drive my wife to Newark Airport for a global entry interview
Once to try to get a covid test (Sunday)

My wife drove down to DC to see family and took a daughter on a hike once but we really don't need it at all.

The weekend after that episode, Stevesie texted me asking if I'd watched them all and I hadn't watched this one and then did and assumed that's why he'd texted me. Turned out he hadn't even seen this one and was just generally asking me about the show.

The part where he's revealing the premise to the guy where it flashes back and forth between the rehearsal and actual initial conversation was incredible. (Rehearsal guy: wow; Actual guy: wow).

I think my favorite part of the episode was the subliminal cheating/answers. "It's days like these I curse the Chinese for inventing gunpowder."

I am finally, finally getting into Nathan For You. Fired up the first two eps last night. The poo flavored ice cream bit as an opener was a bold and bad choice imo, and I was just not that into it from that point for like the next ten minutes because of it. Then the second ep hit where a 7 year-old and H. Jon Benjamin and a turtle are feeding him responses for his job interviews, and I absolutely died laughing. Hooked from there, can’t wait to bang out a couple more tonight.
