I'm getting pretty pissed off at people treating Trevor Knight like he's Cam Newton. Stop telling other posters that they're fools or idiots for not wanting this dude. Some of you guys want to be thirsty for a dude benched, fine do that but stop acting like this guy is done savior when Russell Wilson was the only grad transfer QB in the history of the world that actually worked out.

So you are saying we're due!  :excited:

Who says he's Cam Newton? And who the hell on our roster right now is better than he is? Sorry he got benched for Baker Mayfield, I'll make sure to send my condolences to him. GMAFB.

I think most folks here are just excited about anyone who could drop Hubes a little lower on the depth chart.

1) Knight was decent, but not a great QB at OU.
2) If he wants to come to K-State and compete for a spot there is no reason not to let him have a shot.

Can't see him coming to Manhattan.

He'd be better off going to the C-USA or the WAC.

vernon adams was pretty great at oregon this year. if he wouldn't have broken his finger/been concussed, oregon wins the pac 12 again.

you have to be an absolute Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to not want him at ksu.

worst case extra depth.

best case, the 10% chance he figures crap out and plays to his potential.

Do I want his talents in Manhattan? Absolutely.

The problem I see of Knight is he is made out of glass. There's always some kind of injuries going on with this kid, and you combine that with Snyder's offense, well....

That's my point. Ertz was our starting QB, injured.

Then assuming Knight comes in, plays, gets injured.

We're right back to Hubes....

This is a terrible argument, btw. That's like saying "you shouldn't bother wearing a seatbelt, because if the seatbelt breaks you will still get hurt in a collision."

The point is Knight would still offer an additional layer of protection between us and the train wreck that is Joe Hubener.

You all realize we don't have to choose between Knight and someone else, right? We are just adding someone to our roster or not adding them. What is the downside to having him?
