The best pastry ever.  I like the hole in the middle, less calories.

i prefer doughnut, because it is constructed of dough, not of do.  i also prefer ring, because it is not a nut.

John's Space Age Donuts. In Old OP.

I go in for an early morning Apple Fritter on the weekends pretty frequently.  They run out of fritters early.

I'm familiar with this debate (e.g. Long John's, bear claws, etc.)

If it's made of donut material and fried, it's a donut. There are some fritters that aren't donuts of course, but donut fritters are certainly donuts.

Today is national donut day.  You can get a free donut at Dunkin Donuts or Krispy creme with the purchase of a beverage.  I just got a med coffee and a free maple long john from DD.  It was a long line.  I listened to Soren Petro while I waited.  What kind of donut will you eat today?

You know those teachers who get defensive when people talk about how they have summers off?  So they start talking about all the teacher stuff they do in the summer like planning curriculum, attending professional development conferences, taking college classes, etc.?  Yeah that's BS, I don't do anything.  Waiting in line for a donut was the only thing on my to do list yesterday.  And that box got checked af.
