The challenge of killing an elk is inclusive of every effort expended leading up to the moment.  I didn't think that needed explaining but some of you are surprisingly obtuse.
My point is the hardest part of killing an elk is the hiking. Not the actual shot. So your point is moot with regards to 14er.

"Getting a degree isn't hard, you just walk across the stage and they hand it to you."

exactly. the diploma and handshake is the easy part. it's the 4-5+ years of studying that really makes it dangerous

When Emo does something it is challenging. It matters not what it is, if Emo is a part, consider it arduous. We are all just pretending we have any concept of the struggles, battles, and work that he has put in to achieve even a modicum of success. I, for one, lay down my sword. I'll go home and let my name die out after a few generations. I'll come to rue the day i attempted this mountainous ascent to Emo's mindseye, but am glad to say I met a titan.

I pm'd puni last night and offered him the bonzai tree of peace but he has not responded.  I fear his fleet is on it's way to Midway.
Bonsai tree is a hilarious way to refer to a dic pic.

Puni, this is the best thread on the Combo Fan board. Don't let Emo brown up your shine.

so last Monday we got the day off due to a direct hit by a (pud) typhoon. A bigger typhoon was supposed to hit tomorrow but its tracking way north now and we probably wont close the office. When I expressed my disappointment that I wouldn't get a free day off work (making today a Monday Friday), the Japanese workers GASPED IN HORROR.

the very concept of wanting a free day off work and even more than that expressing it out loud is apparently a major thoughtcrime and taboo

What is a Monday Friday

I would have taken that as only having to work one day during that week...but he was only saying one day off....So I am confused.

A Friday is a day you work but don't have to work the next day. I thought that was universally defined.

So would the day off be a Saturday or a Sunday?

Not me or us but 6 day workweeks are generally common. It's still a weekend, more people are off work than a weekday.
