FWIW, we were with a experienced hiker who has hiked multiple 14ers and he said he would rather be shot and stabbed than hike Fuji again overnight.

I would love to hike that if I could call ahead and reserve the mountain or something. I hate hiking busy trails. I mean, I am out here to see cool ass mountains and views and stuff, not sweaty butt crack directly in front of me for 3 hrs. Hard pass.
