how does j-pay work? do they pay you in dollars and then you have to convert for local stuff or whattttt?
I work for America and get paid in Ameribucks. I have to change cash to yen at an exchange or get out yen from a 7/11 ATM. Most things are cash here but I can use credit cards sometimes.
Rent, utilities, internet, all cash. You take your bills to a convenience store (konbini) and they scan the barcodes and you pay them cash and they stamp them about 40 times and rip off some parts to give back to you.
