1. 95% sure I'm going to the K-State volleyball match in Lincoln, if so I won't be arriving until around 9.
2. Where are the bars in Salina? Are there any downtown and are there bars in Salina that I can just chill, sip, and not randomly be called a n-word?
3. I thought there were bars downtown so I went on trip advisor and got a random hotel that was supposedly near downtown. I know most of the hotels are either halfway to Lindsborg or Concordia and I wanted somewhere I could walk to if I got lit. This rando hotel has excellent reviews so I pulled a rookie move; without looking at the map because one of the reviews said it was close to downtown. The goddamn hotel is near those rough ridin' truck stops halfway to Concordia :mad: I am inside of 24 hours so no cancellation and apparently this hotel is now sold out, why???
4. Please tell me that there are other people staying overnight in Salina.

1. Don't go to the volleyball game.  Come hang out for all of oscar vs. dumbstick and drunken scheme interactions with all your buds who are converging on Salina from all over the world of america.

2. Yes.  Pretty sure right across the street from scheme.  I know I pak'd out for four straight nights when I had to go to a training where we were getting housed in rough ridin' barrack cots on whatever that base is out there, so there had to have been enough adequate places.

3. Stay at Tobias' house.

4. I'm planning on it, in large part because you said you were when I texted you earlier today.  Also figured you were getting to town, parking at Tobias' and unloading your crap, and commencing to get pak'd and not worry about anything.  That's what I'm doing.  Tobias, I'm heading your way as soon as I can get away after 4.

2. before the game, we'll be at one about a 5m drive south of the scheme.  I'd imagine after scheme, one of a couple options downtown.  one more "lively" (relative term...), another option that is more chill.  neither the typical "hick" dive - again, relative.

3. eek.  yeah, no hotels downtown and no legit ones bar-walkable, really...

4.  imagine rdrils will be taking the mhk squad back later, ictcats possibly negotiable

you should stay at The Cozy Inn, it is right next to scheme.  Within walking distance of a nice bar called the paramount.  DO NOT GO to big nose kate's.

MIR, if you have some beef w/Tobias' house and you're otherwise mumped and that taxi thing is practical or we'd figure out some other way to get around, I can use my last free marriott night to get a room at the hotel at the southern salina border.  But that seems stupid.

MIR, if you have some beef w/Tobias' house and you're otherwise mumped and that taxi thing is practical or we'd figure out some other way to get around, I can use my last free marriott night to get a room at the hotel at the southern salina border.  But that seems stupid.

I have a crap load of Marriott points but I didn't feel like a 20 minute commute thats why I thought I was paying for a downtown hotel. I may not go to the volleyball match, I'm getting pissed again that we're in Nebraska AGAIN. 50/50.

quasi-functional, yes.  (sometimes they like to PI, but nobody here seems to make good late-night decisions so it's usually pretty dece).  depending o. time of evening can probably get someone to drive, if not, definitely on the table.
