This season is kind of a fun experience because I literally don't know who the eff ANYONE is. I'm just like "hey look that guy just did something!", and "oh wow did you see what that guy just did??!!". It's like I grabbed a handful of candy from the miscellaneous pile and have no idea what I got yet.

I have plenty of these moments too. I had to keep checking who #3 was and honestly I was getting Budke mixed up with Wade.

How do we know anything about xwhomper

Heard the staff thought he was a steal when they got him and they were even more impressed when he got on campus.

whatever that means.  :dunno:

How awesome to see a team locked in unity, a band of brothers who've been brought together for a common goal and who put aside individualism but rather seemingly seek to promote each other's talents. I saw a young team take a step Tuesday night in a way few could predict, and it'll be only a matter of time until they might make this climb again, except now more aware and better prepared, as we only grow through experience, and when unified, grow stronger through trials. This team will be a stronger team. After the storm of last year this group is a treasure and that we all are still granted many more months and this opportunity to witness their climb together makes me grateful.

I think the next free games will be very telling.  The only team that scares me is A&M.

Hmmm.....  Depth will really be an issue for this team.

Conditioning seems weak,

oscar loves to manufacture foul trouble when it doesn't exist and completely shut guys down when they get in serious foul trouble.

He is unsure about Whomper (whether to redshirt him or not   :Yuck:

oscar is still oscar and we need to get a lot better on the road.

I can't get over that we had 15 wins last year and only one was a true road game (OU).

Remember this gem from Tim Fitzgerald  from Jan. 18th 2015   (K-State was 11-7, 4-1)

"In a strange turn there's been a segment of fans at Kansas State who have never really given oscar Weber a chance and every time things turn south they jump on it immediately. It is part of social media, a fringe element can all find each other and suddenly they have a club of people that believe in the same thing no matter how silly it can be, they listen to each other, they repeat the same thing over and over and convince a few other people and pretty soon we are all convinced that there is a big segment of fans who believe this stupid idea that oscar Weber should be fired after going to the NCAA tournament in 2 straight seasons."

Hire Brad Underwood Now!!!!!!

I think it's time to accept the quirks of our weird ass coach and realize this marriage isn't getting annulled.

I'm withdrawing this post, not sure what got into me.

I remember being a child, and my dad who was a super huge EMAW #ksumbball cat telling me that it was going to be a big deal when we had our first losing season in that stretch, because it broke some really long streak of wining seasons.  We had the DOD going on which is all i knew about at that age regarding k-state athletics, so it al wasn't sad times, but i could sense the hurt in his eyes, being a  :kstategrad: who camped out in the cold kansas winters for a games in Ahern.   I don't want any cats fans to have to feel that hurt.
