They went 5-7, their worst year since his second. He's been there 6 years, which seems kind of crazy.

They lost Lincoln Riley, so had a new OC and they started the guy who was only going to keep the position warm at QB as a couple of young studs developed.

They were driving to tie or possibly win the game at Florida and the QB fumbled. They sucked against Navy, but they always suck against Navy. They lost by 7 to BYU, they had another dud at UConn, but most of their games were pretty close and they beat VT.

I'd love to have Ruffin as DC. I'm sure he could find a better job than defensive coordinator for a coach who is just about to retire, though.
