No they were "I love all things K-State so I'm willing to wait" ites or were "this nice polite man is one of us and doesn't cuss" ites. I don't recall anyone saying "we hired oscar Weber? Awesome, what a great find!"

I do agree that there are a few fans that would happily drool like simps for the air force coach

At this point, nothing would be more perfect than hiring Venzy as HCIW/ defensive coordinator and letting Snyder have a 1-year farewell tour. I'm fine with Snyder having another year, but I'm not sure Tom Hayes is even doing any coaching.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with catastrophe. Venzy as HCIW would be a cream dream. Farewell tour would be fine with me, I guess, as long as Venzy had a bunch of say in who comes there after we do a complete enema of our coaching staff after this season.

I know one hates to see a friend lose his job but give me a break Bill.  Rhoades has a truly bad record for the seven years he's been at ISU and is going out a multi-millionaire.  I could hear the emotion in his voice, decided he's off his rocker, and KSU is screwed until Curie pushes him out.

I think he would in this circumstance, and obviously there would have to be contractual assurances. I don't think anyone would do it anywhere with just a wink and a nod.
