Just getting settled in from the game

Terrible fan attendance, especially after halftime

What are the thoughts on the replay at the end?  IT MATTERED!!!  But it looked like the first foot came down half in, half out, arguably without control.

Also what did the Baylor guy get ejected for?  The ref's audio was crap all night.

Replay could have gone either way. could have argued he didn't have complete control before the left foot hit out of bounds, but not absolutely definitive.

Baylor guy wasn't ejected. He brushed the refs hand away and sat out a couple of plays, but came back in.

The replay looked like a clean interception with a foot inbounds. It's possible he raised the foot before gaining control, but unlikely, and his back was to the camera on the replay they kept showing.

Interesting.....
We got a garbled "numer......for ....bay..or....has..be...disqualified" and didn't know what was up. We assumed it was on the extra point?  I know they had one guy bitching about something during Dimel's long run.

I was really hard to tell what was going on, maybe Gus and Joel got the player numbers wrong, but number 92 seemed to be the one kicked out, but he came back in.

So Baylor completely called the dogs off, right? They could have scored 60 if they stuck with the pass.

I wish every game was Thursday, then you have all weekend to do whatever

If I lived in Oklahoma I would agree.  Wait for the OU fans to settle in and then go enjoy the outdoors or make my grocery run.

Yep, normally makes it a stress free day at Walmart. BUT...OU plays the late game this week, so it won't help a bunch. But less of a line at the Golden Corral

Baylor runs to set up the pass.  They never got into a great rhythm on offense.  I still think they seemed a little disinterested in the game.  That could be because they were looking ahead or because our offense sucked the energy out of them.

Call would have stood either way. Replay couldn't tell when he actually possessed the ball.

The Baylor guy apparently did not actually get ejected. At least I think that was the latest word from Gus.

Fan attendance: WOOF We are not on KU's level of hopelessness, but you sure would have guessed it looking in the stands during the second half of a competitive game.

I'm not going to be an apologist for attendance, but I guess I kinda am. Thursday night games are thee worst for schools like K-state that are two hours away from metros where their alumni live. Not only that, but for KC alums, they're rough ridin' beat from the royals and just spent a lot of money on postseason games/celebrations. Add K-State being shitty this year and i'm sure the students would rather drink out in the parking lot vs. watching baylor score on 10 second drives.

Baylor is the 4th best team we've played. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they lose to TCU, OU, & OSU.

When was the last time we had a game winning or tying drive in the final 2 minutes of the game?

The non-student sections in the stadium were much fuller than I expected when the game started. It really cleared out at halftime tho.

This is my biggest gripe. Put aside the fact that there were no such excuses when we played Auburn last year. For the folks that did show up, they still left during a competitive game.

Even if you don't care what it looks like on FS1, what do you think would be going through a recruit's head when they see something like that?

The only other one I could think of under Snyder in the past 20 years is the Pinstripe Bowl. We didn't actually tie the game because of The Salute, but CC gave us a chance.

This is a dubious claim.
