I just listened to most of Ted's speech. I liked it and agree with the macro of most of what he was saying about freedom and liberty. Its just too bad that his ilk want to pervert and distort that by trying to make it a freedom issue to discriminate and what not. If the Pubs could stick to the freedom and liberty and stop rough ridin' it up with Jesus and other such nonsense, they would kill, imo.

I wish the stories didn’t focus so much on the fact she was a police officer, given that this was clearly done outside of that capacity. That said, of course she should be fired given she has objectively bad judgment.

Well I think the fact that she was explicitly trained to act responsibly with firearms and did this illustrates how terrible both guns and cops are

So I haven't read much about this story, but the only two explanations are that she was totally crap faced, or went in trying to kill a guy, right? Who goes into the wrong apartment and doesn't notice immediately that it isn't theirs? Who goes into the wrong apartment at all even?
