The defense:forced 3 puntsforced 2 turnoversforced 1 field goalGave up 6 TDsGave up 3 of those on big playsThe success of the defense was closely related to the success of the offense:The first half was 3 scoring posessions (1 FG) and 3 non-scoring possessions for TCUThe first half TOP/Points: 1st QKSU 10:38 / 7TCU 4:22 / 142nd QKSU 12:09 / 28TCU 2:51 / 3The 3rd quarter was an absolute disaster and it was where the game was lost. There were other bad plays/decisions later(Deante Burton's awful drop on a key 3rd down conversion driving with the lead with less than 7 minutes left in the game was a disaster)(The defense giving up the long run to Boykin/AND the 2pt conversion for TCU to get the 3 point lead)(the FG decision)But all of those decisions were after we had completely melted down. That 3rd quarter was awful play calling and game management and it cost us the win.

We don't have the personnel nor do I think we are in an era that you will just dominate one or the other at K-State, but we can play winning football when one phase compliments the other. The 3rd quarter put way too much pressure on the defense and it cost us. The 3rd quarter pick 6 followed by 3 terrible drives absolutely set the table for losing this game.
Quote from: slackcat on October 11, 2015, 12:32:56 PMWas hoping Cook would have some reps at QB. Better passing stats than Joe and quicker.Cook is clearly still hurt, he barely played at receiver. He didn't have a stinger and doesn't have a broken collarbone. He likely had a dislocation and still has some discomfort/swelling/loss of range of motion.

fine
Drank a lot of tea this morning, avoided any hangover
wasn't too upset
What kind of a question is that

Only if one holds emotional priority as equal for all individuals. The number of inherent premises to be met for that to be true is, well, not very parsimonious compared to the alternative.
are you a dumbass? most atheists wouldn't attend a school with Christian in the name of it. most dumbasses don't know any better. it's a legitimate question
