going in to 2001 is clearly NU, but at the end of the season there is no way that you ever felt the same about NU they were completely demystified.

When people find out I'm a wildcat, they always make a ku reference. Gets old having to explain that Nebraska is the only rival I will recognize. We didn't have a good record against them, but that doesn't matter.

i guess i just don't hate teams that have stuck around.  my real hatred -- like, actual hatred -- is reserved for MU, Nebraska and A&M.  they could've killed us.  i would root for any current big 12 team over them.

of those three, i probably hate missouri the most, followed by nebraska, then A&M.  although i think i derive the most joy from nebraska losing.  maybe i hate nebraska the most.  i've become a bit more detached from k-state sports than i was in my prime, but few things in my life make my blood boil like talking about conference realignment.

i hope KU sticks to their guns and never plays missouri again, but if they do, i'm going legitimately going to be a huge KU fan that day.

I'm with you on Nebraska and Mizzou. However, CU and A&M to me are like some guy you went to high school with and see in the grocery store and can't remember his name. I don't hate them, I don't like them, I don't care about them. When we played A&M at sprint center last year it was like "meh, whatever"
