On the first day of October I always change my Glade® PlugIns® at work to Pumpkin Spice. It is my 2nd favorite Glade® PlugIns® scent.  In case you didn't know, I use a different Glade® PlugIns® for every month.  PM for details.

how about you just post the list. want me to make a thread?

I'll do it.

The Royals in the playoffs have absolutely skyrocketed the month of October in my list of months.

I have a back patio with a fire pit and I really enjoy setting up a TV with Royals or Cats (this past Saturday I did both) and watching games out there in the fall.

I agree that October is one of the best months, but it is really just the start of an awesome three-month stretch. Easily 3 of the top 4 holidays for friends and family (July 4 excluded) hit in almost perfectly spaced increments. Halloween. Thanksgiving. Christmas. You just go from one to the next, and it's awesome. Everybody is happier around the office because there's more treats and everybody's got some time off to look forward to.

Leaves are changing, football is in full swing, and the Royals are just the cherry on top. Love this time of year.

On a related topic, January through March sucks ass. No more holidays, dark, cold, and brown.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Goodbye, my friend. I enjoyed all 31 days filled with nice weather, magnificent colorful foliage, and ending with the Royals on the cusp of winning the World Series.

Until we meet again next year.

I look forward to winter because once it gets dark outside I don't feel guilty for locking the house, setting the alarm, and settling in for college basketball almost every evening of the season.
And SdK and I just finished a round of golf, and I had a good three-mile run and it's the first of November.  Who could ask for better.  (Thanks, SdK, for dropping me off so far from my house.)

It should never be dark before 7pm, colder than 40deg, or not green outside, imo

really you kind of have to group the months in 3-month pods

stud pod:
october / may / september

ok pod:
april / june / november

pud pod:
july / march / december

crap pod:
february / january / august

today is the shittiest day so far this February, and it's 51 degrees, wow. june and july may swap with march/february. stay tuned
