Maybe this shows you can't establish long term success in a P5 conference based on walk on who play the "right way" and supposed fundamental play. This is a nose dive that basically renders the previous 4 years of success as meaningless.

KSU, as a program, hasn't been in this bad of shape in a very long time.

People talk about the new facilities, but I can't help but wonder what kind of coach we will get. Absolutely no positive reason for anyone to coach here right now.

Success in cfb can be very fleeting. In the matter of one year we have essentially sunk to the level of KU football. Our programs are level at this point in time. Amazing.

the 26 million dollars we have sitting in that mahogany box is kind of a positive. having delton, banks, skylar thompson as your qb depth is a positive.

Not that I want to argue, but we have zero proof that any of those guys can play football. I'm starting to assume any player recruited by this staff sucks balls and taints.

Banks will never play QB at KSU, and I have no concrete facts on my side, but I don't think Delton is going to play QB at KSU either.

In any case, the talent level is even. We might luck out on snagging a good HC, but who knows.

I understand. But they want the staff to stay. I still want them to leave regardless of who we get. I'm just having a hard time seeing anyone worth a crap wanting to come here. Career suicide.

You can get good pretty quickly, too. I don't think our roster is that bad, we have a combination of poor management of the roster and poor coaching.
