I understand.

Seriously though, do you think that the ISU administration has learned ANYTHING from this?

This is amazing to watch.  This is the first time I have ever seen an entire fanbase ecstatic about their coach willfully leaving to take another job.

All that means is that Creighton is mumped and Oregon is OK.

I get why ISU fans would be excited, but right now, that job is as enticing as two-week old Chinese food in a partially working dorm mini-fridge.

What idiot would (a) sign with the most devastated program in the conference, and (b) do so after the late signing period where you can get no help for next year?

Christ, don't even get me started on the train wreck that is a Jamie Pollard coaching search.  I mean he literally Gumped his way into the Rhodes hiring, and that one is still too early to tell.

ISU is a Tom Asbury away from their two decades of basketball hell that we just got out of.

Source just confirmed to me (McNeck's nephew) that Greg McDermott has taken the job. Lets see how reliable this source is though.

Source told CBSSports.com that McDermott hasn't formally accepted Creighton's offer yet, but that he almost certainly will Monday.
