to create their mind meld proglib utopias, "lessor" people need not apply, but they truly are "concerned" with the plight of the little people, well, at least on social media they are.http://www.phillymag.com/citified/2015/09/27/death-gentrification-guilt-le-bok-fin/I was also waiting in a reception area when I saw (muted) on a TV a documentarian or author on one of the news channels discussing their study of how San Fran and neighboring Too Cool For Schooler Communities while extremely liberal in political orientation, have essentially pushed people of lessor means out. Their only "allowed" in to be worker bee's during their shift and then leave. Fascinating
Oh, and I don't think dax is talking about San Francisco 2.0, lib.
I watched San Fran 2.0 last night, the layers of irony in that bad-boy are hysterical.
I'm talking any where. You have to cut out vast swaths of liberals to find the one's that are "livid" about Gentrification.

Gentrification and associated displacement are by far the top political issue, and the people unconcerned with displacement are more the "socially liberal, fiscally conservative" types. There are at least two housing affordability measures on the upcoming ballot. I'm sure Philly is different, though.
The supply problem is a purposeful thing, in a city run by Liberals.
san francisco public transportation can take you within like 2 blocks of anywhere in the city (i think i read that)
