i haven't dressed up for Halloween since i was 12 because i am an adult.
If you don't like to dress up and get really drunk while acting like the thing you are dressing as...are you an adult?

I'm making my daughter go as a flamingo with spinal meningitis.

I have a pretty decent Steven Tyler costume featuring an authentic vintage Aerosmith T shirt from the Pump tour.  I also borrowed a mic stand from a friend and tied a couple of scarves to it.  Kind of a pain in the ass to carry around but it really completes the look.

I feel like my best Halloween days are behind me. Once time a group of us went as Publisher's Clearing House, big check, old video camera, balloons confetti and everything. I'm not sure it will ever be topped.

Group costumes done right are always good.

Last year in Denver a group was every character from Mario Cart w/ like legit sized cardboard go carts hanging off suspenders.. they were running around the streets of downtown being pretty damn funny, but took up so much god damn room in the bar.

thanks.  I had a lot of fun making the proton pack.   You can't tell, but there are strobing red lights inside the round part at the bottom, and there are multicolor tracers in the proton gun.   My MIL sewed the jumpsuit for him.

This year he's going to be 70s era Willy Wonka.      I hope we can keep the retro interest going for him.

then she'll sue the drivers for not paying enough attention, the city for not providing enough street lights, and the car manufacturer for not installing enough safety features to prevent this.
