Serious question:  Would you rather have Sean or Leavitt as HC?

Sean (seriously)

It's pretty amazing Leavitt is once again employed by a college.

Leavitt went 95-57 at South Florida, got $2.75 from USF for wrongful termination, and since he left I believe USF has gone 23-41.

I have no idea about the circumstances of him leaving USF. But didn't Snyder try to hire him as DC and Currie vetoed the idea?

I believe about 10% of that.  Mostly that the names and dates are accurate.

"Bill had a lot of influence, he and I are very close," Leavitt said Monday morning on the Big East coaches media conference call. "Bill is a great man. I was fortunate to coach on his staff. We pattern our programs very similar. Nobody can ever replace that guy."

That really is the attitude you want and need to have for whoever is replacing Bill in the future.

Leavitt was once pretty high on my hotlist if only because Bill wanted him in 2006 and his FL connections.  Now, he has fallen due to my suspicion of how much Sean's continued employment plays into Bill's endorsement.  I still prefer Leavitt to the results of 48 hours in a Dallas hotel room.

Deputy Dawg would very much having Leavitt on 'Cats coaching staff as HCIW.  It's a dream, though, Currie has already vetoed that.
