Walk to Defeat ALS

A guy I grew up with in Iowa with is walking for his dad in the Walk to Defeat ALS in Des Moines in October. His dad was my YMCA-league basketball coach in 5th and 6th grade, and if you can imagine Little Havs playing basketball, you'd appreciate people like him who can put up with that for an entire season. The fact that such a great guy was diagnosed with ALS is tragic, and I hope to spread this page in an effort to do a small part in finding a cure for this terrible disease.
