My experience at Disney is that there are just as many MAGAs there as nonMAGAs.

I admit that I'm a bit of a rage baiter at times myself.  In 2020 I would drive my golf cart around my MAGA neighborhood with a Dump Trump flag on it.  It appeared to be just an ordinary Trump flag at first glance but upon further review it was not.  So, I got a lot thumbs up switched to middle fingers.  I also bought an Obama Biden '08 sweatshirt to wear to Home Depot.

I also felt like no one reacted to him at all

I didn't see anyone react either.

Disney is to MAGAs what Chick-fil-A is to me. I want to hate them. I want to boycott them. But I can’t rough ridin' do it.

If you're dead set on staying at a Disney resort use this and book the Boardwalk or Polynesian at less than the cost of the moderate. Assuming there is still availability. they will put you on a wait list if not and we've had good luck.

How the heck do I use this and what do I do with my family of four? I have no idea what I’m doing and just looking for a pretty standard but memorable Disney vacay. Explain it to me like I’m my five year old daughter.

Also talk me out of just using a Disney planner for all this stuff.

Use that link and see if they can get you a suite at boardwalk or beach club on your dates. Simple as that. Otherwise yes to you backup plan.

And is Boardwalk mostly cause it’s centrally located? We’d have one in a wheelchair so getting around is definitely a consideration.

yeah, you can walk to epcot or studios from boardwalk, yacht and beach, and swan and dolphin. I'd rent them one of those motorized buggies obviously though. perks are early entry to the parks for the most part. disney direct bus service from boardwalk and yacht and beach to the offsite parks. swan and dolphin also has bus service with the caveat that I'd walk over and hop on the yacht and beach or boardwalk bus to magic kingdom because it drops you off at the gate instead of the monorail which saves time. there are some other minor perks like billing to the room for the disney resorts but I don't really do that anyway. there's some other minor crap that I can't remember.
