Why can't people like you understand that the world looks differently to him because he is treated differently by society? Him seeing the world through his eyes isn't race baiting. I'm baffled as to why you don't see that. You supposedly acknowledge that inequality exists but when the porch monkey points it out he's being divisive.

If my kid, at 14, showed enough interest in such things to tear apart a clock and rebuild it, I would be pretty happy. There are a bunch of ppl on this board that would be intimidated by trying that themselves.

I loved doing that crap. Took an electronics course in HS and it was awesome building little things. Took an electronics 2 independent study course with my friend the following semester and one of our projects was to build a trigger for the teacher's potato gun
